RESETS TO KEEP YOUR MENTAL HEALTH IN CHECK 

        In Respect to May being Mental Health Awareness month, I have put together the easiest yet most effective way and to reset your mind, body and soul to be in check with yourself!!!

The first and I’ll like to say most cliché thing to do is to start with being in check with yourself and EVERYTHING surrounding you!!

This starts with making a to-do list for the week or even checking all the things on your to-do list or taking a long shower or bath and CLEANING your room, yes yes yes stand up and FOLD, DECLUTTER, CLEAN and ARRANGE your room. Even if you’re soo tired and stressed, trust me it’s totally fine!! The bitter truth that no one ever wants to accept is that there’s always this feeling of satisfaction when we clean or do our chores no matter how we fail to admit it😭.

So, start by decluttering what surrounds so you could focus better on YOU!!



Next thing on my list and of course my fave💋 Can we all guess??

Skincare!!!!

Yesss, still on matters of taking good care of the wellness on the outside then we definitely need to cover taking care of our skin😍!! Do a face mask and if you haven’t before then TRY IT!! We’re all about self-discovery here!! Do your skincare routine and feel pretty!!! There’s just something about dressing up just to stay home or putting on our best outfits that make us truly happy and give us some peace of mind and WE ALL know it. So, feel pretty however you pretty is defined in your OWN dictionary. Don’t wear your goody or pj’s all day🙄.

Or do your makeup 🤭




Fitness is a no-brainer as well!!!

Go to the gym or even do a workout at home, 5 minutes to 30 minutes. Whatever you can do I suggest you do it!! Scientifically and commonly, I’m pretty we all know how our physical and mental health are interconnected and can be influenced by both states of oneself. So, go for walk or a run or a jog or a hike and FEEL🥹!!!You won’t regret it💋

Connect with your creator and spirituality by all means. There’s this peace when being in the presence of the Almighty and having clean energy around you. It’s pure, peaceful, perfect and HEALING!!❤️ So meditate, pray and read your scriptures cause the joy found in that is just irreplaceable. I suggest getting a space in your home dedicated just for that!!! Make it your sanctuary and safe space to go back and let go of our thoughts and emotions 💕 Why get stressed over not having a therapist when we are literally blessed with a free living one🥹!!!


Next up is Health checks,

Go to get your heart checked or your blood pressure or anything to make sure you’re physically fine as well🥹!!

Be consistent with how your body feels cause your mind being stressed or overwhelmed might just be your body telling you to go get checked !!! So, don’t hesitate and see how you’re really doing. Check out for some supplements and herbal teas as well. Make it a routine and you’ll see how it works out for your body. Most of these symptoms of you not mentally being in check might just be your body.



Close to the end, we have expressing your thoughts!!

Personally, I express myself through writing, poems and singing. If you like then try something new. I recently started journaling and I wouldn’t say I have gotten totally used to it to review it but it’s all about the journey of self-discovery and improvement😚. So whatever it is that is a peaceful way to express yourself then DO IT!! Or try something new and let me know how it goes 🤭!!



Last but DEFINITELY not the least, thinking of it, this should’ve been first on my list now🤭 but BREATHEEE!!! doing what makes you happy is the realest thing you could do to be in check. To protect your peace and energy lying in it, do what makes you happy and be surrounded by people who also create a space for your joy. Cut off all forms of negativity in your life and create a healthy and positive environment for your life💋. Be spontaneous and always what truly defines you. So, go for it !!!
